Hi, i wash it once a week or so, it doesn’t get dirty at all, the water is always fresh and not smely because the water is running all the time and the fountain have a filter that you need to change once in a while, not too often, also the filters are not expensive. I highly recommend this water fountain

How often do you have to wash it? My cats want me to run the shower 5 times a day so they can chase the water and drink it… Even though I rinse their water bowl every day, they don’t like stale or slimey water.
that water fountain works very well, the other day wasn’t working and luna was stuking her mounth and paw into the little hole trying to get watter running again lol
