My daughter is good at training cats to do tricks. She trained her Persian cat, Juliet (7yrs) to sit up and beg for treats–1st part of video. She also trained our family cat, Ribby (14yrs), to sit in a cat-sized high chair–2nd part of video.

What smart and pretty cats!
I wouldn’t really call that a treat. My cat does the same thing if I bring treat which he cannot reach, so he stands up to reach them. It’s just a reaction.
For example, if I was to hand you out something, you would reach out by probably giving me your hand or something.
