Oh, my cat can eat as much she want’s but still she does tricks. Just use as treat something that your cat really loves (I use ham). Some cat’s do trick without food too! Cat’s are smart, they don’t do something because you want, they do it because they want to. ;)

  • Signai1976 says:

Why don’t you use clicker training? That is much more fun for the cat than to be forced/ pushed down.

  • rainslave says:

My apologizes to you as this is not the case. However, being a cat owner myself I have found that this is usually the way that trainers (movies, etc.) do it. You have a lovely cat and obviously you are a good “mom”. Thanks for sharing/getting back to me.

Absolutely NO! You don’t need to keep your cat hungry. I feed my cat the normal amount (whatever states on the bag of the cat food) twice a day.

The idea here is… feed normally and never leave the food out. So the cats will know that YOU (the owner) is the food source. Then the cats will listen to you.

  • rainslave says:

I believe that the idea is to keep your cat as hungry as possible so that when they oblige then in return they receive food…sad but true.

Thank you for your comment. I have thought about the talented show, but I am not sure how my cat will perform when she’s in front of 100 ppl and the camera. You know, most cats are shy when facing strangers.

my cat knows about four tricks but they are never as good as this cat! my cat can do side, sit, up, and high five. I have a video of my cat doing the high 5 its called bakers high-5. you can search it if you want. Be sure to comment! Please tell me how to do the loop! and you should be on petstar a show where you bring talented pets and they score you you have a chance to win $15,000 !!!!

  • CocoMunky says:

omg, ive seen some of these tricks done with cats before but not things like going through the tube and jumping the hoop! thats amazing!!!

  • Ankabaranka1 says:

lol. my cat wont ever do tricks. when i did try, she would give me the look: “what do you think you are?”

  • sandylam1026 says:

use treats. If your cat likes to lay down, make it as a trick. Hold your treat, say “down” then kind of push your cat down (dun push hard), once your cat is down, say “good boy/ girl” in a high tone, then give your cat a treat. Repeat it many times, do it everyday, your cat will soon learn down=treats.
